What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience and a B.S. or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or relevant work experience as a technical program manager in the automotive software space.
• Experience in vehicle software integration with automotive hardware and vehicle teams.
• Expertise in Defect Management and Release Management.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy chassis firmware systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Manage program risks, identify dependencies, and create mitigation strategies to ensure timely milestone execution.
• Gain a deep understanding of chassis firmware architecture, including control algorithms, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and hardware interfaces.
• Coordinate system integration between chassis components (e.g., steering, braking, suspension) and vehicle systems.
• Work with firmware and software teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure industry standards and safety compliance (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders such as product management, suppliers, and vehicle integration teams.
• Facilitate communication between internal and external teams to ensure alignment on program goals and progress.
• Manage supplier relationships for chassis firmware components, ensuring clear requirements and timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure hardware availability and pedigree.
• Develop and maintain detailed program timelines, roadmaps, and resource plans.
• Track and report on program status, KPIs, and deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing program performance and applying lessons learned.
• Identify and resolve program risks by collaborating across teams.
• Triage defects resulting from software integration and testing, including lab car tests, vehicle tests, and driver mileage accumulation.
• Coordinate with software teams to schedule defect fixes and create a release checklist.
• Ensure chassis firmware meets regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with validation teams to define test plans and criteria for successful chassis firmware integration.
• Own release notes, including limitations and workarounds.
