We invite you to become part of the Discovery Land Company team, where excellence in service and quality is central to everything we do. This position will be based at our prestigious locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, just outside Westhampton Beach, NY, and The Hills in East Quogue, NY.

Position Overview:

Dune Deck Beach Club is currently hiring seasonal full-time Housekeepers / Public Area Attendants to join the Residential Services Department for the Summer 2025 season. The position will run from April 20, 2025, through September 30, 2025, with H-2B visa sponsorship available for in-country extensions.

As a Housekeeper / Public Area Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine environment of our luxurious residential community. You will ensure that our clubhouse, public areas, amenities, and private homes are spotless, welcoming, and exceed the expectations of our members and guests. You will collaborate with the Residential Services and Club Operations management teams to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and hygiene, contributing to the exceptional experience at Discovery Land Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeper:

• Clean and maintain luxury rental homes, condos, and private residences.
• Change linens, make beds, and collect dirty linens for laundering.
• Clean bathrooms, restock soap and paper products as needed.
• Vacuum, sweep, scrub, and mop floors as necessary.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchens.
• Empty and relining trash containers.
• Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and other surfaces.
• Perform detailed cleaning, including ceilings, vents, and high corners.
• Maintain confidentiality for all members and guests.
• Submit billing for completed tasks to management.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Clubhouse Housekeeper / Public Area Attendant:

• Regular cleaning and maintenance of the clubhouse and amenities, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.
• Sanitize restrooms and ensure they are stocked with supplies.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Maintain all public areas, ensuring they are clean and inviting.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond to immediate cleaning requests and special projects from clubhouse management.
• Report maintenance or repair issues to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment.
• Launder pool, spa, salon, and fitness linen as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Seeking in-country H2B visa extension candidates actively working in the U.S. on an H-2B visa.
• At least 3 months of previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-end residential or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices.
• Ability to apply health and safety regulations effectively.
• Safety-conscious in the use of machinery and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Additional Requirements:

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Must be available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required during peak periods.
• May be assigned duties at The Hills Club in East Quogue, NY. Transportation provided.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain composure during busy times.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Physical ability to work in varying weather conditions, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $22.62 – $25.00 USD per hour, based on experience.
