JOB SUMMARY

Your Role:

How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead and execute capital improvement projects.
• Conduct SAP routings and capacity studies.
• Provide shop floor support for daily operational challenges.
• Assist in the quoting process with the Operations team.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned to achieve plant goals.
• Troubleshoot issues related to processes and equipment.
• Design machines, controls, fixtures, tooling, and gauges.
• Write and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
• Guide suppliers in tools and fixture design.
• Ensure all fixtures and tools meet guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Support the implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Develop documentation for manufacturing operations (Work Instructions, SOPs, Control Plans, PFMEAs).
• Design and collaborate on area/plant layouts.
• Provide technical support to the Purchasing Department for vendor inquiries.
• Lead customer-owned tooling quotations, including acquisition and modifications, in coordination with Purchasing.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Advanced experience in PLC and HMI programming.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Visa sponsorship available for Continental employees only.

Additional Qualifications to Stand Out

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in rubber extrusion and vulcanization.
