Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, modification, and review of engineering plans, technical reports, calculations, and specifications for diverse projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions for our clients.

This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position within project teams, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage discipline-specific work plans, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work and estimating levels of effort for upcoming projects.
  • Oversee quality and accuracy of technical deliverables and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients and partner teams on technical matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • Ph.D. in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • AICP certification (depending on discipline)

Compensation

Estimated Pay Ranges:

Maryland: $98,332.76 – $153,802.53

Washington, DC: $107,697.79 – $168,450.39

Note: These are good faith estimates at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and work location.
