The Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University invites applications for a tenure-earning position in Marketing. We seek a dynamic and collegial individual with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and scholarly research. All marketing specialties will be considered.
Position Overview:
This full-time, tenure-earning position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses across multiple delivery formats (face-to-face, online, and hybrid). The standard teaching load is 3/3, with opportunities for summer teaching contracts and research stipends. The successful candidate will also contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and service to the university, college, and broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses in various modalities
- Develop and maintain a productive research agenda consistent with AACSB standards
- Publish in peer-reviewed academic journals
- Mentor students and advise student organizations
- Participate in college and university committees
- Engage in professional activities and community outreach
- Support recruitment, retention, and other Kelce College initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related field from an accredited institution (ABD considered with expected completion by August 2026)
- Demonstrated effectiveness in college-level face-to-face instruction
- Evidence of potential for scholarly research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- Success in online instruction and course development
- Record of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in contributing to curriculum expansion
