Our Open Opportunity:

We are excited to invite you to apply for the position of Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. As a vital member of the Food & Beverage leadership team, the Sous Chef will help ensure the highest standards of quality and service for both guests and employees.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. The ideal candidate will work closely with Executive Chef Franco Diaz to create an environment where motivated individuals want to join, learn, and excel.

The Sous Chef must be a team player, comfortable with technology, and adaptable to taking on various responsibilities to support teamwork. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• ServSafe Certification.
• Proficiency in knife skills.
• ServSafe allergen training.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English; second language skills are a plus but not required.
• Strong leadership, training, motivational, and communication skills.
• A college degree, preferably in Culinary Arts, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a culinary leadership position, preferably in independent restaurants. Michelin experience is required, with preference for candidates who have experience in Michelin two or three-star establishments.
• Ability to operate food & beverage computer systems and culinary production equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with both the Hotel Executive Chef and Adorn Executive Chef to align with the broader vision of the hotel and restaurant.
