Position Overview:

We’re seeking energetic and enthusiastic J1 Visa Employees to join our Sales Team and be the face of Shoreline Sightseeing! As the first point of contact for our guests, Sales Team Members play an essential role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience. You’ll assist customers in choosing the best tours and products, share recommendations for enhancing their time in Chicago, and provide helpful information about local attractions and directions, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless visit.

Job Type:
Seasonal – Mid-May/June to Mid-August

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner
• Become knowledgeable about Shoreline’s tours, packages, pricing, and routes
• Provide guests with clear, accurate information and directions
• Handle guest inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Recommend additional experiences, such as local food and attractions, to enhance guests’ visits
• Maintain a clean and organized environment around ticket booths and kiosks
• Work at multiple Shoreline locations across Chicago
• Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
• Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with guests
• Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive, energetic attitude toward tasks, co-workers, and guests
