Schedule: 7:50 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Full-time, 12-month position
We are looking for a passionate and energetic State-certified teacher with a background in Early Childhood Education and, ideally, experience with ABA Therapy. You’re someone who shares our mission of delivering exceptional treatment and services to children with autism in underserved communities. With integrity, persistence, patience, and a true desire to help, you are committed to empowering children with autism and improving the professional lives of those you work with. You value collaboration, recognizing that teachers, therapists, ABA Classroom Assistants, and parents all play vital roles in transforming children’s lives.
At the McCarton Foundation, we believe in the potential of every child with developmental disabilities. For over 20 years, we’ve been dedicated to providing life-changing services to children with autism and related developmental delays through integrated treatment programs.
Our story began in 1998 when Dr. Cecelia McCarton established the McCarton Center for Developmental Pediatrics. This pioneering center brought together developmental pediatricians, ABA therapists, speech and language pathologists, and occupational therapists under one roof—a groundbreaking approach that set a new standard for care. This model expanded to include the McCarton School (now Keswell) and the McCarton Children’s Academy, transforming the lives of thousands of children.
In 2018, we extended our services to underserved communities with the McCarton Center Bronx. Our team of expert teachers and therapists uses our integrated model to deliver comprehensive care, including ABA therapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social skills development. We’ve now helped over 1,500 children, and we continue to grow.
Our mission to change lives drives us forward, and we’re excited to expand our team. If you’re passionate about our work and eager to contribute, we’d love to hear from you.
McCarton is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind, in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
