JOB SUMMARY

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will be responsible for managing the successful execution of Mods & Ups projects, ensuring alignment with financial and commercial goals, utilizing Siemens Energy’s Project Excellence (PE@SE) methodologies.

You’ll ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and rules while enforcing a zero-harm policy for environmental, health, and safety practices. Additionally, you’ll implement a framework for regularly monitoring project compliance, including subcontractor activities.

As the leader of the project team, you will provide guidance, support, and motivation, helping team members achieve both project and organizational objectives.

You will develop and oversee project/program solution plans for complex initiatives, leading the implementation of technical projects/programs.

You will guide the project/program management aspects, including defining schedules, budgets, risk management, change and opportunity management, and resource allocation for complex projects or programs.

Your leadership will also focus on continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for project/program expansion.

You will ensure accurate assignment and tracking of project costs, preparing commercial updates for regular reporting and status discussions, including timelines, costs, quality, and cash collection.

In addition, you will support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for projects, covering key metrics such as Order Entry, Revenue, and Gross Margin.

You’ll identify financial opportunities and risks, assessing them thoroughly and implementing strategies to reduce risks or seize opportunities while addressing any remaining risks.

Your responsibilities will include performance control, forecasting, planning, risk management, accounting, and ensuring compliance across projects.

You will analyze project data and provide insights, feedback, and reports to team members and management, identifying and addressing risks and issues early, and working proactively to resolve them.

What You Bring

• A BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a Management degree, with 5 to 8 years of experience managing large, complex projects, including experience with Controls Systems projects.
• Experience as a Project Manager in category B/C or a similar position with demonstrated experience in managing projects or teams.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
