As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room/Recovery Department, you will provide safe, effective, and culturally competent perioperative and post-anesthesia recovery care. You will care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders and pulmonary conditions. This role involves performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing, and evaluating care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices. You will adhere to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and actively participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
During procedures, you will rotate between three roles: circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or patient monitoring nurse for sedation cases. In the post-operative phase, you will have distinct competencies related to post-anesthesia recovery.
Reports To: Manager
Supervisory Responsibility: While this position does not involve formal supervisory duties, you will assist with scheduling, assigning, and coordinating work. You may provide guidance and training to others and serve as a group leader or informal supervisor.
Materials Responsibility: Limited – You will have some responsibility for material resources, such as supplies and equipment, but the level of control is minimal, and problems related to these resources are uncomplicated.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $32.25 – $49.00 per hour
