Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all IT operations at the plant, ensuring alignment with the broader business area’s IT strategy.
• Transform plant IT strategy into actionable plans and ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor and achieve IT objectives that meet both internal and external customer expectations.
• Manage IT budget and forecasts, overseeing investment in IT infrastructure, such as servers, network equipment, and software, while managing departmental KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the IT department.
• Support the development and growth of the IT team.
• Collaborate with internal and external IT service providers, including monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and procurement activities, to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Oversee the maintenance, support, and operation of plant IT infrastructure (software, servers, network, IT service desk, workstations, and physical equipment like printers and scanners) in line with established standards, including the development of a contingency plan.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a climate-controlled facility where safety is our top priority. Adherence to safety procedures is mandatory, including wearing safety glasses, steel or composite toe shoes, and hearing protection in some cases.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information/Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of IT experience.

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced: Proficiency in IT systems and infrastructure (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11, Windows Server, Camera systems).
• Advanced: Project management and problem-solving skills; knowledge of communication strategies including presentation, change management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Basic: Familiarity with manufacturing technologies, systems, processes, and quality management systems.
• Strong ability to collaborate with international teams on IT initiatives.
• Ability to travel domestically to support other Continental locations.
• Visa sponsorship is available for Continental employees only.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Leadership experience is a plus.
