JOB SUMMARY

Job Overview

As a Control Panel Assembler at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for assembling control panels and systems according to technical specifications and engineering drawings. Using both hand tools and power tools, you will fit and wire components to ensure all parts are accurately aligned, secured, and wired as per the requirements.

This role demands a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. As part of the team, you’ll focus on precision, safety, and collaboration, while facing the challenges and rewards of creating high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong focus on safety by adhering to Zero Harm Culture (ZHC) protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Assemble control panels following engineering specifications and industry standards, ensuring all products meet customer expectations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and resolve semi-complex manufacturing issues.
• Participate in training programs to improve knowledge and skills in control systems and assembly processes.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the quality of assembly processes.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate well with others.
• Commitment to safety and quality in every task.
• Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
• Willingness to travel and assist with site installations during outage seasons, under the supervision of senior staff.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees with visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
