Position: Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Entry-Level)
Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4 days, 10 hours/day)

Job Summary:
The entry-level Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing, evaluating, and reporting laboratory tests on patient specimens to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. This role involves adhering to established procedures to maintain quality control and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently plan and complete assigned duties in a timely and productive manner.
• Report test results promptly in accordance with established laboratory protocols.
• Act as Charge Technologist and serve as a resource to laboratory and clinical staff.
• Maintain laboratory quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• May instruct and observe student technologists.
• Manage resources like productivity, supplies, and equipment effectively.
• Perform accurate testing and specimen processing as per laboratory protocols.
• Assess the competency of team members.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Required)
• Clinical Lab Technologist License (TN License) – State of Florida (FL)

Job Complexity:

• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and decisive judgment skills are essential.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
