What You’ll Do
- Check the Details: Look over medication orders—making sure the drug, dose, and admin plan are spot-on, watching for any interactions.
- Get It Right: Make sure every medicine we send out is perfectly prepared and labeled with care.
- Speak Up: Suggest therapy tweaks to doctors and facility staff when you see a better way.
- Keep Track: Update our customer database with medical histories, lab results, and clinical notes—keeping everything tidy and current.
- Problem-Solve: Dig into medication questions and sort them out with a smile.
- Chat & Connect: Team up with nurses, doctors, and healthcare pros to tackle any med-related puzzles.
- Guide the Prep: Oversee medicine prep to keep things smooth and safe.
- Stay Legal: Log controlled drugs for compliance and stock checks.
- Keep It Secure: Ensure meds are stored safely every step of the way.
- Be Ready: Jump in for “on-call” shifts when we need you.
What You Bring
- A Kentucky Pharmacist License—your ticket to the team!
- Long-term care experience? Awesome, but not a must—we’ll help you grow.
- Hospital, retail, or other medical field background? That works too!
- A sharp mind for analysis and critical thinking.
- Words that connect—great at talking and writing.
- An eagle eye for detail and a knack for staying organized.
- Comfort with computers (bonus points for Framework/ECM software know-how).
