Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Northwest Community Hospital – 880 W Central Rd, Arlington Heights, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
Hourly Pay: $24.86 – $37.29 (Based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Northwest Community Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Patient Care Team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play an essential role in delivering quality care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on nursing care in alignment with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards.
  • Assist RNs with delegated tasks and clinical procedures.
  • Administer medications safely, within your licensed scope of practice.
  • Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to the RN and healthcare team.
  • Support care plan updates in coordination with the RN.
  • Interact with patients and families in a therapeutic, age-appropriate manner.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure supplies are stocked and ready.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team development.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, standards, and safety protocols.

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • License: Active LPN license in the State of Illinois.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of LPN experience preferred.
  • Certification: Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
