We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support our architectural team on high-profile building projects. This role focuses on providing structural expertise through all phases of design, including construction support, for complex and nationally significant developments in aviation, sports, transit, and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects, including airports, transit centers, sports arenas, and government facilities.
  • Perform technical design of structural systems using steel, concrete (including post-tensioned), wood, and masonry.
  • Develop design concepts, calculations, detailed drawings, and structural analysis models from concept to final design.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to innovative structural solutions.
  • Oversee the work of structural engineers and BIM technicians, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
  • Provide engineering support during bidding and construction, including reviewing submittals, answering RFIs, and site visits.
  • Contribute to project management efforts including cost control and quality assurance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
  • Support client engagement and coordination as part of a collaborative architectural team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE).
  • Master’s degree in Architectural or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with structural software tools such as RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, and ADAPT.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated Salary Range (Los Angeles Metro/Orange County): $123,846 – $193,709
    (Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and work location.)
