We’re growing our world-class Field Engineering team—and we’re looking for a passionate, outcome-driven Customer Success Manager who thrives at the intersection of deep technical understanding and strategic relationship building.

What You’ll Do

Lead High-Impact Customer Relationships:
Own strategic accounts, drive customer outcomes, and position Tetrate as a trusted technology partner. Build strong, consultative relationships to grow revenue and expand our footprint.

Solve Complex Problems with Urgency:
Understand your customers’ Layer 7 and security challenges inside and out. Collaborate closely with post-sales engineering to deliver fast, effective solutions using Tetrate’s platform.

Be a Trusted Advisor and Advocate:
Earn customer trust through technical and strategic guidance. Champion their needs internally across product, engineering, and support teams.

Drive Account Growth:
Execute thoughtful expansion plans and consistently exceed revenue and satisfaction goals. Your success is measured by customer retention and Net Dollar Retention (NDR).

Influence Product and Strategy:
Bring back insights from the field to influence product development and competitive strategy. Your input will shape how Tetrate evolves to meet the needs of the world’s most demanding enterprises.

Own the Customer Journey:
From first engagement to long-term partnership, ensure an outstanding experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping customers achieve their goals and renew with confidence.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise:
Strong background in containers, Kubernetes, and service mesh—especially Istio and Envoy. Familiarity with API gateways (Envoy Gateway, AI Gateways) is highly desirable.

Relationship Management:
Proven ability to build trust with both technical and executive stakeholders. You can lead conversations that range from architecture deep-dives to strategic roadmap alignment.

Project Leadership:
Organized, results-oriented, and accountable. You’re skilled at aligning cross-functional teams and driving execution across multiple complex customer initiatives.

Customer Obsession:
You care deeply about delivering value and will go the extra mile to ensure customer success. You know how to leverage internal resources and navigate enterprise environments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer success roles within the infrastructure software space
  • Demonstrated ability to grow enterprise accounts and improve Net Dollar Retention (NDR)
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills for both C-suite and technical audiences
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and relentless focus on outcomes
  • Ability to manage 15–20 customer relationships and coordinate across internal and external teams
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high bar for execution
  • Committed to solving hard problems using first-principles thinking
