Job Description
The Operating Engineer will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-kept hotel environment.

Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to:

Operating the boiler and chilled water plants, ensuring consistent temperature control throughout the property.

Collecting water samples from boiler, loop, and cooling tower systems, and treating them to maintain specified chemical levels.

Managing various equipment, overseeing domestic hot and cold water systems, and monitoring electrical switchgear for proper functionality.

Performing repairs in guest rooms and public areas as needed, including kitchen, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing fixes.

Handling cleaning and general maintenance tasks in engineering areas, alongside other daily operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Class 2 Operating Engineer License and a Universal EPA Certificate.

• Flexibility to work AM, PM, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts is required, with schedules varying based on business and operational demands.
