HNTB is looking for a driven and experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our growing team and support a major transportation client in South Florida. This position involves leading the planning, design, and delivery of key infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with client expectations, regulatory standards, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, fee estimates, and assist in preparing technical proposals and contracts using HNTB’s Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
- Serve as the primary liaison to the client; manage project teams to successfully deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Perform technical tasks such as analysis, reporting, design, and production as required by assigned projects.
- Execute HNTB’s Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) and lead the development of project management plans.
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff development, recruitment, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with Client Service Leaders and pursuit teams to drive business development and support strategic pursuits using HNTB’s Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA).
- Lead proposal development, client presentations, and industry engagements for mini-mega and mega projects.
- May be involved in hiring and performance evaluations for staff assigned to projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
- At least 2 years of experience managing engineering projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience delivering projects on-time, on-budget, with high quality and client satisfaction (4for4)
- Skilled in risk and change management
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and work with sub-consultants
- Proficiency in using project management tools and systems
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to support succession planning and long-term client engagement
