Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Telemetry Surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, safe, and culturally competent care to adolescent through older adult patients with diverse health needs.

Using evidence-based practice and critical thinking, you will carry out the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while adhering to ANA professional practice standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care across the continuum in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance monitoring initiatives
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
  • Provide direction and guidance to peers or assist in training new team members
  • Ensure adherence to all hospital and regulatory policies
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to support optimal outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Illinois; Iowa RN license required within 12 months

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • ACLS certification within 9 months of hire
  • ECG Monitoring certification

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous nursing experience (not required)

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $32.25 – $49.00
Final offer depends on education, experience, certifications, and internal equity.
