About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) team, with a focus on our internal AI/ML platform—Mach1ML (our in-house equivalent of tools like Uber’s Michelangelo or Facebook’s FBLearner). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams and wants to make an impact in the world of ML Engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with product managers, tech anchors, and stakeholders to build scalable ML solutions using Agile methodologies

Partner with ML engineers to address complex AI/ML challenges and deliver high-impact use cases

Engage in pair programming for continuous learning, collaboration, and fast delivery

Develop and drive PoCs/discoveries for emerging tools and technologies

Work with architects on platform integration and technical decision-making

Support the adoption and democratization of AI/ML through Mach1ML and Generative AI tools

Provide technical mentorship to peers and contribute to a culture of software craftsmanship

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

4+ years of experience with Python and machine learning technologies

2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs, including building RAG and multi-agent applications

3+ years as a software engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals

Cloud experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Tekton, Cloud Build, Airflow

Even Better If You Have

Strong experience with ML tools such as PyTorch, NLP, and orchestration tools like Airflow

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)

Familiarity with containers (Docker), Kubernetes (K8s), GitHub, and DevOps practices

Frontend development using React, Chainlit, or Streamlit

Experience with FastAPI or Flask for API development

Passion for agile development, continuous improvement, and innovative problem-solving

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Understanding of cloud architecture, pricing considerations, and design trade-offs
