What You’ll Do

Be the heartbeat of patient care—assessing, diagnosing, planning, and delivering smart, safe, and compassionate care using your sharp mind and evidence-based know-how.

• Keep things on track with ANA’s Professional Practice Standards—think quality care, every time.

• Jump into quality checks and improvement projects to make our care even better.

• Guide and cheer on your teammates, sharing tips, training, and a bit of leadership (no official boss title needed—just a knack for helping out).

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll chat and connect with coworkers, doctors, patients, families, students, and more—building bridges and solving problems with a friendly, open vibe. It’s not always easy, but it’s always meaningful.

What You Bring

• Education: An Associate’s Degree in Nursing (a Bachelor’s is a bonus!).

• Training: Basic Life Support to start, ACLS within 9 months, and ECG Monitoring skills.

• License: RN in Illinois, plus Iowa within a year.

• Experience: None needed—we’ll help you grow from day one.

• People Skills: You’re great at talking and listening, even when things get tricky or stressful.

The Physical Side

This gig’s no desk job—it’s hands-on and hearty. You’ll lift over 50 pounds at times, so stamina’s key. Expect some strain (and maybe a little fatigue), plus moments needing nimble fingers and all sorts of moves. It’s intense about 10-35% of the time, but we’ve got rest built in too.

The Environment

You’ll face some tough stuff—think health risks or hazards—up to 70% of your day. Safety gear and smarts keep you covered, and yep, there’s possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
